SARAH HUDSON
Sarah is a dedicated physiotherapist, proudly serving the Grande Prairie community since 2019. Raised in the area, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with Distinction, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Throughout her studies, Sarah was deeply involved in the adaptive and rehabilitation communities, volunteering at the Steadward Centre and the Glenn Sather’s Return to Activity Program, which focuses on acute knee injuries. She further honed her skills in sports injury management and strength and conditioning as the student trainer for the University of Alberta’s Pandas Volleyball team, under the guidance of their Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Sarah’s post-graduate education includes training in dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and supporting artistic athletes. Her interest in physiotherapy was sparked by her own experience as a dancer, which has inspired her special focus on helping artistic athletes and hypermobile individuals recover from injuries and improve their performance. Sarah is passionate about empowering all individuals to move better and feel their best, so they can stay active and lead healthy lives.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, downhill skiing, and walking her dog, Lucy. She also stays active through weight training classes and practicing yoga, always looking for ways to improve her own fitness and well-being.
